An extra year of Tory rule
|
If the Scots vote for independence then the general election could be delayed a year.

Does it make any odds? No matter who gets in, we'll still be governed by a continuation of Thatcherite neoliberal polices. The Left is officially dead in British politics.

If the Scots get independance, you will at least have 2 countries that have their own democratic majorities, in Scotland, left wing governments for ever,in England Right wing Governements for ever(if we can fuck off the Welsh!!) Whats not to like.

Comma's got it right.
Salmond has played a good campaign. The Scots don't want centre right government and definitely not from Westminster.
Don't really want to see them go, but I cant blame them.

Hani how can you be so sure? For example a large number of posters on here denigrate our country and think it's going to the dogs etc. The Scots might see this as an opportunity to leave a sinking ship. They don't want to be run by S E English toffs, Oxbridge people or by Parties that they did not vote for. They might just take the opportunity to look after themselves.
Good luck to them however they vote.

Considering that the global economy has just gone through the biggest slump / depression, call it what you will.... yes, we are in a much better position than under the previous Labour government.
You just need to look at the rest of Europe, which will either revert back into depression or bump along the bottom for a long time to come, to see that we have done okay over the last couple of years and will continue to press on as long as Milliband / Balls steer well clear.
France (not to menton the other usual suspects) is fucked and will be for quite some time.

Labour - Bring in immigrants, house them in tory areas, get them to vote labour.
Job done.

Eek!
Could England accommodate as many as four extra people?

Frankly if they vote Yes, then it will be disastourous for them. They dont seem to have realised just what will be involved and the implications. It is mind boggling the complexity of the organisation needed to effectivly create a totally seperate govt and all that goes with it.
The smug cunt Salmond is so obsessed with his vision of a Scottish utopia that he glosses over the realities.
One thing is for sure, there will be an exodus of the best and brightest once the reality sets in.
Also, I would hope that all of the talk of us refusing to share the pound isnt just bluster. If they want out, then fine, but no way on earth should the BOE be their lender of last resort.

Think it's a bit sad after 300 years of the Union but I am all for getting rid of Salmond and his nationalistic Scotish cunts.
What I want to know is why Camoron allowed this and why we all don't get a vote as it will affect all of the UK.

I've never really thought about it but surprised that parliament is allowed to delay an election in this way. Sounds rather dangerous.

Is the average individual UK citizen better off now than under the Brown government?

Yes of course we're much better off than under those Labour cunts Blair, Brown, Prescott, Balls, Cooper et al. Not an honest cell in any of their bodies and yet still people vote for those fuckers.
